Okoa Youth CBO
Okoa Youth CBO
Okoa Youth CBO is dedicated to creating a sustainable future through strategic advocacy in two pivotal areas: climate action and the blue economy.
Climate Action: Our commitment to the environment is demonstrated through our vigorous efforts to reduce carbon emissions. We focus on planting mangroves, which are not only vital for carbon sequestration but also play a crucial role in protecting coastal ecosystems. Through these efforts, we aim to mitigate climate change and foster a healthier planet.
Blue Economy: We champion the health of our marine environments by promoting the use of recycled plastics. By advocating for and facilitating the recycling of plastics, we work to prevent marine pollution, safeguarding marine life and supporting the resilience of oceanic ecosystems. Our initiatives are designed to create a more sustainable and equitable economic framework that benefits both people and the planet.
