Mission

Green Halo’s Mission is to accelerate global Climate Action and Sustainable Development by conducting thorough research, creating engaging content, advocating for change and closely monitoring environmental progress. Empowering individuals, organizations and communities to understand. and address challenges posed by climate change and focus on opportunities in a greener more sustainable world all while considering science and the unique circumstances of each region.

Our Vision is to create a world where Climate Action and Sustainable Development are at the forefront of global priorities. We envision a future where communities are educated, empowered and actively engaged in implementing innovative solutions to combat Climate Change by capitalizing on cutting edge research,impactful content and effective advocacy. We aim to inspire lasting environmental change that preserves our planet for future generations. Through our monitoring efforts we strive to ensure that scientific facts and local circumstances are considered for collective efforts towards a sustainable and resilient world.

Our Activities

Community Excursions - We engage in excursions in various areas to research on the local environmental situation and circumstances of the community members therein.
Social Media Engagement - We create content and host virtual conferences and live streams for story telling on our excursions, for advocacy and campaigns on different environmental and sustainable development aspects and for public opinion and engagement on progressions towards Climate Action and Sustainable Development
Hosting Conferences - We host collaborative meetings bringing together different stakeholders in the community for advocacy and for planning and fostering collaborative action plans geared towards the Climate Action and Sustainable
Development, guided by research and on issues advised by community members.

Achievements

We are proud to have ignited deep rooted interest in learning the science around Climate Action and interest so to take action from communities capacity, predominantly in the rural communities in Northern Malindi- Kilifi county
