CJPD has 6 thematic areas; Lenten campaign, governance
and democracy, transformative civic education, peace
building and conflict management, constitution reforms and
programs. We do advocacy through community outreaches
and participatory congregation engagemnets aimed at
peaceful co existance of people within our community.

Vision

Guided by the catholic social teaching, KCCB/CJPD is
mandated to promote justice and peace through sensitizing
individuals and communities in Kenya on their
responsibilities on justice, peace, human rights and
reconciliation for integral human development.

Challenges

1. Lack of motivation for volunteers

Achievements

1. Was part of developing the kilifi youth manifesto
2. made aspirants for 2022 elections in kilifi county to sign peace charter
3. Did election observation
4. Involved in CBOs forum that meets at Maono
5. Rescue children who suffer trafficking or violence of whichever nature
