Rotaract Club Of Malindi
The Rotaract Club of Malindi empowers communities through service, focusing on environmental restoration, health awareness, and youth mentorship. We plant mangroves, offer free cancer screenings, and mentor young people. In 10 years, we’ve planted thousands of trees, screened 300+ for cancer, and mentored 40+ children.

What
We Do
The Rotaract Club of Malindi is a group of young people dedicated to making a positive impact in our community, guided by Rotary International’s areas of focus. We concentrate on service, personal growth, and building strong relationships through projects that help improve lives.
We work on several projects to address key community issues. Through the Mangrove Annual Restoration Project, we plant mangrove trees to restore local ecosystems and protect the environment. Our Mashinani War on Cancer (MWOC) program educates people about cancer and offers free screenings for early detection. We also provide mentorship to young people at the Malindi Children’s Remand Home, helping them build life skills for a better future.
We tackle important challenges like environmental degradation, lack of health awareness, and the need for youth support. Our mangrove planting efforts help restore vital coastal ecosystems, while our cancer screenings and health talks provide crucial information to the public. Our mentorship program supports young people who need guidance to succeed.
Over the past 10 years, we have planted thousands of mangrove trees. We have also screened over 300 people for cancer and provided treatment to those in need. Additionally, we have mentored over 40 children at the remand home, helping them build confidence and life skills.
We continue to focus on cancer awareness by offering free screenings and health talks, expanding our mangrove planting efforts to restore more ecosystems, and growing our mentorship program to help more young people achieve their potential. Through collaboration and hard work, the Rotaract Club of Malindi is committed to making a difference in the lives of those in need.
