About us
Kilifi Youth Assembly, a dynamic and youth-led organization established in 2019 and officially launched on October 21, 2021, stands as a powerful platform dedicated to empowering the youth to lead the charge in shaping policies that address the pressing challenges faced by young people today and in the future. Our unique policy cycle, starting from community engagements and culminating in parliamentary sessions, ensures that the voices of our vibrant youth population are not just heard but acted upon. Our organization is structured with an executive branch led by the President and a dedicated Legislature led by the Speaker, each with distinct roles in the policymaking process. Through dedicated departmental committees and passionate Members of Parliament representing Kilifi County’s 35 wards, we address a wide spectrum of youth-centric issues, from health and agriculture to education and gender equality. We take our responsibilities seriously, not only representing and overseeing but also actively influencing policy formulation, making us a formidable force in advocating for positive change. Kilifi Youth Assembly is committed to upholding the rule of law, the constitution of Kenya, and our assembly code of conduct to ensure the effective implementation of policies that transform the lives of our youth and the entire community.
